Grant from the U.S. State Department and Meridian International Center to facilitate the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP) at Virginia Commonwealth University (Co-Principal Investigator/Co-Academic Director 2013)

Quest Innovation Fund Grant from Virginia Commonwealth University (with Yan Jin, Scott Sherman and Ernest Martin) to create a Center for Media+Health at VCU (2013/1014)
