“Check your wiki” among most read PR articles

The article “Wikipedia Presence of the Top Ten Fortune 500 Companies – ‘Greedy conglomerates’ and ‘slave labor’: You better check your Wiki!” was among this year’s top ten most read articles in The Measurement Standard, an influential public relations newsletter published by Katie Delahaye Paine. My research partner Marcia DiStaso and I wrote the article as a summary of our journal publication “Forced Transparency: Corporate Image on Wikipedia and What it Means for Public Relations,” which was published in the Public Relations Journal earlier this year.

See the complete ranking of the most read articles in The Measurement Standard here.

Update: The study was also discussed on a German PR blog.
